The Fieldpiece HS36 is the top-of-the-line Fieldpiece stick multimeter, adding True RMS measurement and a bright blue backlit display to the HS35 feature set. True RMS gives accurate readings on variable frequency drives (VFDs) and non-sinusoidal waveforms — important for HVAC/R technicians working on equipment with VFD-driven compressors and fans. The backlit display makes readings easy in poorly lit plant rooms, roof spaces, and ceiling cavities.

Like the rest of the HS30 series, the HS36 works with all Fieldpiece accessory heads, includes detachable silicone test leads with alligator clip extensions for one-handed testing, and features a magnetic hanger for hands-free use. Safety rated to CAT III 600V.
