The Fieldpiece SPK3 is a compact pocket-sized thermometer that combines an 8:1 infrared sensor with a folding rod probe in a single instrument. The rod probe folds out for in-duct temperature measurement — the narrow tip inserts easily into ductwork — while the 8:1 IR sensor handles register and ambient temperature measurement without contact. Hanging hooks allow hands-free in-duct measurements. The backlit display flips between IR and rod readings, and the SPK3 quickly calculates T1−T2 across both IR and rod modes or a combination of the two.
